How do we plan to win elections

HOW DOES PPI PLAN TO WIN ELECTIONS?

Consider these.

India has an electorate of 671 million.  A little over half of them voted in the last general elections

India is believed to have a “middle class” of about 250 million.  But the percentage of those who actually vote or are able to vote, is abysmal.

Roughly half of India was born after 1983.

Despite 60 years of self governance, India continues to be a squalid, ramshackle third world country, with extremely serious systemic ills which are not being addressed due to the ignorance and myopia of unenlightened political managers.

Professional Indians have the competence to quickly change all this and convert India into a developed nation and bring us back our dignity.  Many professional Indians worldwide can be cited as examples.

Now, put all these together.

You will find that if professional Indians stood and got elected to the Indian Parliament, they will bring new, enlightened governance to quickly improve our quality of life and win back our rightful place in the 21st century world, and the middle class has the requisite numbers to make this happen.

PPI is the agent of change.  PPI intends to take the above logic to the people, make them see its pragmatic simplicity and achievability, and persuade them to stand and vote.  While every one is welcome to help PPI, it is wise to initially focus on the middle class because they are more accessible, they are easier to communicate with and they are an identifiable group.

And even if that percentage of the middle class votes which is the national average, PPI can win elections.
